Making you feel welcomed is a high priority. This important ministry is focused on meeting you at the door and assisting you in any way possible. We can direct you to our coffee house for some light refreshment and fellowship, then to one of our classes, or maybe walk you and your children to Kid City, where children meet Jesus.

Step into our Library and enjoy a cup of java! Have a seat and enjoy the company of others before our classes begin. Know a good cup of coffee when you smell it? Welcome Center
Visit our Welcome Center in the Narthex as you enter the building, and we have a gift bag waiting for you. We want to make sure you have information about our church family.
Ushers
Sometimes we just are behind the times…”late,” that is. It happens, and we are ready to make you feel comfortable in finding a seat. Let one of our ushers show you to an empty seat or two or three or more! Like to serve in this way? Email us at firstchurch@fccxenia.org.
Communion Preparation and Communion/Offering Servers
We believe in meeting around the Lord’s table each week, as did the early New Testament church, to remember Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. In preparation for this special time, we enlist the help of others. We also ask our church family to take turns in serving the Lord’s Supper, as well as collecting our weekly offerings. Van Ministry
Each Sunday and Wednesday (in addition to special events), we pick up children from our neighborhood who need a ride to church. We are currently looking for additional drivers.
